Skin Classic uses focused high-frequency electrical energy to coagulate and vaporize superficial non-cancerous lesions. The device targets lesion tissue while sparing surrounding skin. Depending on size, some growths resolve immediately while others require follow-up sessions for optimal clearance.
Most clients feel a brief prickling or warming sensation; discomfort is usually minimal. We offer topical numbing on request and adjust settings for comfort. Sessions are short and most people tolerate treatment without significant pain or prolonged sensitivity.
Treatment count varies by lesion type and size. Small lesions often resolve in one session; larger or deeper irregularities may need two to three visits spaced several weeks apart. Your clinician will assess lesions and recommend a personalized plan.
Downtime is minimal. Expect redness, light crusting or scabbing for a few days to two weeks depending on treated area. Avoid picking, sun exposure, and follow aftercare instructions to promote healing and reduce risk of discoloration.
Side effects are uncommon but can include transient redness, scabbing, mild discomfort, temporary pigment changes or rarely scarring. Contraindications like active infection, recent isotretinoin use, or implanted devices will be screened during consultation.
Avoid sunburn, tanning treatments and blood-thinning medications if possible. Discontinue topical retinoids a few days prior if advised. Arrive with clean skin and bring any questions; we will review your history and expected outcomes before treatment.
