Get answers to common questions about RF MICRONEEDLING FACE & NECK.
During treatment, topical numbing is applied, then microneedles deliver RF pulses across face and neck. You’ll feel heat and pressure but minimal pain. Sessions last 45–90 minutes depending on areas treated, with immediate redness and mild swelling that subsides in days.
Most clients tolerate the procedure well due to topical numbing applied beforehand. You may feel warmth and pressure; some zones are more sensitive. Oral analgesics or prescription numbing can be used when necessary to maximize comfort.
Typically a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart yields optimal results. Individual needs vary based on skin condition, age, and goals; maintenance sessions once or twice a year help preserve results.
Downtime is typically 2–5 days of redness, mild swelling, and sensitivity. Makeup can be used after 48 hours if skin is calm. Full recovery and collagen remodeling continue over weeks to months.
Common side effects include redness, pinpoint bleeding, bruising, and temporary sensitivity. Rare risks are infection, prolonged hyperpigmentation, or scarring if aftercare is neglected or improper settings are used. We perform consultations to minimize risks.
Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding clients, active skin infections, recent isotretinoin use (within six months), uncontrolled diabetes, or those with pacemakers or certain metal implants. A thorough consultation and medical history determine eligibility and safety.
